About us
Welcome to the Milbourne Arms, a proper village pub in the heart of Holywell.
We’re here for good food, well kept drinks and relaxed hospitality that makes a pub feel part of the community. The Milbourne Arms has long been a familiar meeting place for locals, families, walkers and visitors, and our aim is to keep that warm, traditional feel while giving people more reasons to visit.
Join us for classic pub dishes, Sunday lunches, quality beers, wines and spirits, or a quiet drink in one of our cosy indoor spaces. When the weather allows, our outdoor areas are ideal for a catch up, a meal in the sun or a few drinks with friends.

Excellent lunch and will come again
"Excellent lunch today. Belly Pork for him and Steak and Mushroom Pie for me followed by apple crumble and ice cream to share for pudding. Sat in the garden at the front but there is more seating inside, plus courtyard and Sports Bar to the rear. Dog friendly as well."

"Drove past on few occasions, not really noticed until last week & my only disappointment is me not using here sooner! What can I say, from calling in off chance this the first time of using today the staff were welcoming / friendly, the Sunday lunch, was faultless! The Meat cooked perfect. Exceptional portions , the quality was as good, price you couldn’t even fault. I can be quite fussy, when comes to quality vs price but can hand on heart not fault anything. Locals friendly too. The overall first and lasting impressions were first class. Have already booked up to come back again. Thank you. Please pass on comments to the team."

"The staff are so accommodating, friendly & efficient. The food was amazing. The chef was very responsive. When we asked if something could be done without chilli, he was more than happy to oblige. We asked for medium rare steaks & they were cooked to perfection & melted in the mouth. Just as well we were very hungry as the portions a very generous. The pub was very comfortable with lovely music. All in all a lovely evening. So much so, we have made another booking. Thank you."
